New regulations, particularly from EASA, involve new reviews such as an assessment of potential wildlife hazards for the airport which takes into account an area extending 13 km around the airport.

After being approached by a large number of airfields to meet the new WHM requirements and responsibilities, BTEE has decided to publish an International Airport WHM Recommendations Manual aimed at airports and airlines. It was published in May 2015 and enables wildlife hazard risk reduction procedures to be implemented immediately.

Below is an order form for the manual, computer models and the software package MANIRA - Airport® (Illustrative Method for Analysis of airport wildlife hazards).
